The Wallace Lake Sanitary District holds its regular meetings on the third Mondays of every month at the Trenton Town Hall, 1071 Highway 33 West, West Bend, Wisconsin, 53090, at 7:00 P.M.  All meetings are open to the public.

The District holds its annual meeting and adopts the annual budget in the month of October.

An advisory committee was established in the early 1980s to allow special interest groups to develop and implement projects that benefit the quality of the lake for everyone.  Through the volunteer efforts of property owners and people who frequent the lake this committee has successfully implemented the following projects:

Weed Harvesting Program

  • Professional Survey of Submersed Aquatic Plants

  • Development of a Plan to control Eurasian Milfoil

  • Purchase of the First Weed Harvester (see the new Weed Harvester)

  • Implementation of a Harvesting Program

  • Ongoing Monitoring and Required Maintenance for the Program

 Fish Management Program

  • Development of a Long Term Plan based on Professional Input

  • Fund Raising Campaign for Fish (Bass) Stocking Program

  • Development of a Regular Stocking Program (Walleye)

 Water Quality Monitoring Program
