Trash & Recycling
The Town Hall Yard (1071 State Highway 33 East) is open the second Saturday of every month from 8:00AM-noon, receiving ONLY brush (including Christmas trees), waste oil, batteries and metal goods.
Large items that cannot be collected via your trash cart can be taken to the Advanced Disposal transfer station at 803 North River Road. A disposal fee, based on weight, will apply.

Collection in the Town of Trenton is as follows:
- Hwy 33
- North of Hwy 33
- River Court
- Trenton on the River
- Scenic Drive
- South of Hwy 33
The following Federal Holidays usually affect trash and recycling pick up. However, when in doubt, PUT IT OUT.
- New Year’s Day (January 1)
- Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day (first Monday in September)
- Thanksgiving Day (last Thursday in November)
- Christmas Day (December 25)
At those times, the pick up schedule will shift by one day. If the holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, the Thursday collection will occur on Friday and the Friday collection will occur on Saturday. If the holiday falls on a Friday, the Thursday collection will not be affected, and the Friday collection will occur on Saturday. Please review the calendar above for specific dates.
