Is the small street of Glenway going to be resurfaced any time in the future?
The annual spring road tour is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 8:00 AM (snow date of Saturday, April 12 at 8:00 AM). While inspecting the roads, the Board members and Public Works employees make a list of the roads needing the most work. The decision to repair roads will occur at the May 20 Board meeting. If you have any further questions, please contact a Board member
Does Trenton offer small pine trees for sale? Does West Bend? Or do I purchase privately? I recall a program approximently ten years ago.
No, Trenton does not offer this, however, Washington County may. Please contact the Parks Department at 335-4445.
The corner of Oak Rd. And Terry Dale is full of loose gravel…… I have slid in my car coming to a slow stop. Can the township please sweep this since it is a safety issue? Thank you.
I will inform the Department of Public Works.
how do you find out if theres a job opening for the township?
Some Town employment opportunities are published in the Daily News. You can contact the Department of Public Works at email@example.com for part-time public works employment. Reviewing the minutes of Town Board meetings can also be helpful.
Is there a place that we can take leaves?
Unfortunately, the Town of Trenton does not take leaves. You may burn them or compost them. Some residents find a neighbor who has a field where they can be disposed.
Is the town still using the loose chip seal method for road maintenance as done on streets such as Linda and Trading Post last year?
Will this method be used on portions of Mapledale as budgeted for 2016?
No chip sealing will be done in 2016 to any roads in the Town. For additional information, please contact one of the Town Board members.
Do the hours change in the summer for brush drop off? I just cut down three dead trees and have a mountain of branches. I don’t want to leave them sitting in my front yard for another three weeks.
Brush drop-off is the second Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM – noon, all year.
I live on Courtland lane in s small subdivision. When I walk my dog, I noticed there is broken glass everywhere. It may be from recycle pick up trucks. Can we get the subdivision swept?
The Town of Trenton does not own or operate a city sweeper. We will send a DPW employee to see if there are any options.
North River Road going to the boat launch was dug up this past winter for two new houses being built. Temporary patch job was done on the blacktop road at the time. Since then the patch has sunk and it’s quite a deep dip all the way across the road. You have to go slow and maneuver around to the side so you do not bottom out your car. When can this be leveled out to a safe surface?
I have forwarded your question to the Sanitary District.
How much brush can we dispose of at a time? Is there a limit on how much we can dispose of in one trip?
You can bring as much as you are willing to help unload and take to the chipper.
I have noticed a lot of children walking and on bikes trying to cross River Road at Sand Dr.
that are having trouble with the traffic trying to cross to get to the sidewalk that was just put in to get to school. I’m worried that someone will be hit by moving traffic. The City of West Bend is also
responsible for that intersection. The posted speed is 35mph but most cars are going faster.
I have notified the Police Department to monitor that area.
Will Trenton Road be resurfaced/repaired between Hwy 33 and Creek Road soon.
The Town of Trenton does not maintain that portion of Trenton Road. Please contact the City of West Bend for information on repairs to that stretch, as they own it.
